Job Description
1. Warranty and Cost Reduction:
- Lower warranty claims (R per 1000) and Cost per Unit (CPU) by addressing top concerns within 60 days (Severity 10-9) and 120 days (Severity <8).
2.Internal Issue Resolution:
- Resolve design issues from Apex QCRT, NOVAC, and LSP within the plant.
3.Product Validation System (PVT):
- Establish and lead PVT at the plant, focusing on training and mentoring team members.
4.Feedback and Escalation:
- Provide warranty performance updates and escalate issues as needed.
5.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with Customer Care, R&D, Manufacturing, and other teams to improve quality.
6.Knowledge Transfer:
- Apply learnings to new projects and ensure products are reliable for at least 5 years.
7. Quality Improvement:
- Develop plans to reduce Initial Quality Survey (IQS) issues and improve manufacturing processes.
8.Data Analysis and Audits:
- Analyze warranty, IQS, and internal data; conduct audits to enhance product and process quality.
9.Product and Process Expertise:
- Leverage knowledge in-vehicle systems, design, testing, and validation to ensure high standards.
Qualification
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering; Diploma in Engineering; Bachelor’s in Engineering.
General Experience
12 to 15 yrs experience
