Job Description
The Maharashtra government’s Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Department, in partnership with the Chief Minister’s Public Welfare Cell, has approved the implementation of the “Chief Minister Youth Training Scheme”.
As per the Government Resolution dated July 9, 2024. Under this scheme, 50,000 “Yojana Doots” (Scheme Ambassadors) will be appointed to promote and raise awareness of various government initiatives, ensuring that these benefits reach as many citizens as possible.
The Directorate General of Information and Public Relations is responsible for executing the program, with the Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Department providing the honorarium for the Yojana Doots.
The Directorate will also establish the rules, terms, and conditions for selecting these ambassadors. The government is currently considering the detailed implementation strategy for this program.
Qualification
 Graduates from any discipline are eligible. Basic computer knowledge is required.

Eligibility Criteria for Chief Minister’s Yojana Doots
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 35 years old.
- Educational Qualification: Must be a graduate in any discipline.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers is required.
- Mobile Requirement: Candidates must possess a modern smartphone.
- Residency: Candidates must be residents of Maharashtra.
- Identification: Candidates must have an Aadhaar card linked to their bank account.

Responsibilities of Selected Yojana Doots
- Stay in contact with district-level authorities to gather information about relevant schemes.
- Visit assigned locations and complete tasks as instructed.
- Coordinate with local bodies to promote state government schemes, ensuring widespread awareness.
- Prepare and upload daily reports of their activities online in the prescribed format.
- Use assigned responsibilities solely for official duties, refraining from any illegal or unauthorized actions. Any breach will result in the termination of the contract.
- Unauthorized absences or abandonment of duties will lead to forfeiture of the honorarium.
